Reworks the flake checks to follow the conventions used in jingus/tabberwockey (nix-modules/checks/default.nix):

  • Consolidate nix-modules/tests/{lint,unit,e2e}.nix into a single nix-modules/checks/default.nix
  • Run checks against filtered sources instead of raw `` paths:
    • codeSrc (extension + tests) via lib.cleanSourceWith
    • nixSrc (.nix files + nix-modules)
  • Add a nixfmt check (nixfmt --check over all nix files) — new coverage
  • Convert the e2e check to a proper stdenv.mkDerivation with doCheck, phase hooks, and src = codeSrc instead of runCommand + `` string interpolation
  • Guard against mis-filtered sources (test -d tests etc.) like tabberwockey does
  • Drop x86_64-darwin from systems (dropped in nixpkgs 26.11), matching tabberwockey

nix flake check passes locally: package, lint, nixfmt, unit-tests, and e2e all build.
